HSBC Unipreneurs 2008 is a new award which aims to discover and encourage a new generation of university educated business entrepreneurs. It's also supported by the National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship and is therefore connected with all 168 UK universities.
Twenty big ones…
plus something shiny for the mantlepiece.
The top prize is a cheque for £20,000 – which could come in very handy to help pay off your student debt or give a big boost to your start up business funds.
In addition to the first prize of £20,000 the winner will also enjoy the prestige of being named HSBC Unipreneur 2008. Won't do your CV any harm at all, will it?

Following a demanding selection process the whole ball game will culminate in a gala evening at BAFTA in London on 23rd April 2008. On the night, the five finalists will need to win over not just the Judging Panel but a live audience to scoop both the coveted HSBC Unipreneur 2008 title and the £20,000 cheque.
Do you qualify?
To enter you'll need to satisfy the following criteria:
- be at university or have graduated since May 2006
- have a business idea in development, in the process of setting up a business or trading for one year only by 17th September 2007
